Highly Trained Staff
that specialize in memory care
Every member of the Terralume care team is trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia support, guided by Ebenezer Dimensions® Memory Care—a program developed from decades of experience in dementia care. This expertise empowers our staff to meet each resident’s unique needs with patience, respect, and skill, ensuring that every interaction reflects truly personalized support.

Members of the engagement team are required to complete two nationally recognized certifications: Certified Dementia Practitioner® (CDP®) and TimeSlips® Certified Facilitator through the Dimensions program. This dual-certification approach deepens the impact of engagement and sets a higher standard of care. Both certifications also require ongoing continuing education, ensuring that leaders and staff stay current on the latest dementia research, best practices, and innovative care techniques.
Terralume ensures personalized care through customized care plans that are regularly reviewed and updated as residents’ needs evolve. With 24/7 on-site staffing, families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are supported day and night. Terralume’s approach blends advanced dementia care practices with the compassion and human connection that families in Minnetonka, Wayzata, and across the Twin Cities value most.

Engaging Daily Life
Designed Around Residents
We believe daily life in memory care should be centered on meaningful engagement. When a resident moves in, we involve their family to create a program tailored specifically to their preferences, interests, and needs.
Residents participate in activities such as art, music, and physical movement, all thoughtfully adapted to their abilities and interests. At Terralume, our partnerships with organizations that specialize in enrichment—such as MacPhail Center for Music and TimeSlips—help ensure these experiences are engaging, purposeful, and meaningful.
These programs are designed to honor each resident’s current stage of life, encourage social connection, and bring joy into everyday moments.
The smaller, more intimate scale of our community makes it easier for residents to participate without feeling overwhelmed. Families are also an important part of community life and are welcomed through visits, events, and ongoing communication with staff.
